Stripes, stripes and more stripes! It's all I keep seeing everywhere. In the history fashion, there's just simply not a time where stripes aren't a thing. It's the most universal pattern. I had been on the hunt for a pair of striped shoes since I didn't own any until I came across these ones at Shoedazzle called "Lynden" I remember they used to have a pair in pink last year that I missed out and hopefully they bring back. They are the girliest most fashionable striped shoes I've seen! They run TTS however, I have a narrow foot and they didn't have 6.5 so, I went with a 6 and they fit perfectly.
They say nothing beats the real thing but when it comes to those passing trends, I prefer with going with the affordable. All things 70s are back this year once again, this includes fringe everything!
Spring has sprung! While the weather is still indecisive ( It'll be snowing this week) today was in the high 70s, perfect enough to wear my good ol' jumpsuit which I had altered and made it shorter. I love to re-purpose clothing because they transform into new pieces. I added this little floral blazer I had in my closet and some vibrant yellow pumps to give it a Spring vibe.
Just in case you're curious, this fur stole is faux. I had been loving adding texture to my looks lately and to break away from the fur vests and all that jazz, I wanted to try the fur stole. It's a classy piece you can wear numerous ways and add that element of sophistication to your outfit. I added it to my pink jacket I wore recently and it totally changes the look of the coat and keeps me cozy in this transitioning weather.
Today's look involved a recent steal I scored! I gotta tell you, nothing better than finding an item you love at a bargain price. This jacket is a dupe for one I had been drooling about but I would never spend that kind of money on something I won't take with me to my grave LOL. Anyhow, right now it's one of the best times to shop because the new season is upon us and I'm sure you will find a lot of great transitional pieces at a fraction of the cost.
I usually tend to shy away from plaid, but I came across this shirt/dress that can be worn many ways and decided to give it a whirl. I had this dress stashed since last year and just recently noticed the pattern in this particular color combo is everywhere! I guess plaid will be in full effect this season. Are you a plaid fan?
