Plaid is the epitome of Fall comfort days. At some point in life I wasn't fond of the look, but little by little I started to incorporate a few pieces in my wardrobe and it totally makes sense to me now. I find that the black and white plaid fabric is the most universal one and it goes with basically everything. I bought this plaid dress last year and since it's a button down it gives me the advantages of styling it several ways. As a dress of course, a tunic/ top or a light layering piece.

It was Sunday and had a few things to do, so, I wanted to wear something I could do some walking in and keep me warm enough. I have had this plaid shirt for like a thousand years now. It's like a chameleon, it morphs to whatever you want it to, if you know what I mean. It can make an outfit look totally casual, or it can truly dress it up. I have to say this has to be yet another staple in my closet! That and those black jeans.
Today's look was very Clueless inspired, I guess the only thing I would be missing would be the knee-high socks and the Mary Janes LOL. I wanted to go for the school girl look with a modern twist.
Para el look de hoy, mi inspiración principal fue la pelicula Clueless, lo único que me faltaria serÃan las medias y los zapatos Mary Jane jaja. Mi meta fue crear un look tipo colegiala pero con un toque moderno.
