There's always been a debate about sequins. Should they be worn by day? Should they be worn by night? All I know is that where I come from people see you wearing a garment with sequins , they will automatically ask you if you're going to go party. Sequins are usually in during holiday season but honestly, it shouldn't be a seasonal trend. Sequins actually make an outfit have that extra spark depending how you wear it. Merry Christmas everyone! May your homes be filled with joy and happiness during the festivities. Just wanted to stop by and share this Holiday look I wore for Christmas Eve. While a lot of people tend to do the sequins for NYE, I opted for this skirt I've had and paired it with this super frilly, bell sleeved top. I'm in aw with this blouse!

Este año para los looks festivos, tiendo a seleccionar cosas llamativas con brillo o cortes femeninos. En esta ocasión me atreví a usar los famosos "culottes", si eres de esas chicas que les encantan los cortes geométricos femeninos pero quieres una alternativa a usar faldas, aquí la solución. Optando por colores romanticos, este tipo de pantalón te hará ver súper esbelta. Para que el look se viera más acorde a mi edad, le agregué un crop top sexy con lentejuelas color rose gold para crear un look casi monocromático con textura.Usar colores pasteles con detalles metálicos es otra opción si no quieres vestirte de los colores tradicionales para la navidad. Espero que este look les sirva de marco para crear un look no tradicional para sus fiestas. ¡ Felices pascuas a todos!, les deseo amor y paz en sus hogares.

I usually tend to go for sparkly stuff and feminine cuts for the holidays, so, this time I took a chance with the famous culotte pants. When they first came out, I wasn't really into the whole concept but I found these amazing ones in such a girly color, I had to give them a try. They are definitely an alternative to wearing a midi skirt because it gives you that elegant, yet feminine look. I added a rose-gold sequin cut-out crop top to make the look more flirty and at the same time, create a textured monochromatic look. This is by far my fave holiday look! Using pastels with a metallic touch is indeed a different option to break the pattern of wearing the same ol' Christmas palette. Hope this one serves as inspiration for y'all. Happy Holidays! Las épocas festivas acaban de comenzar y para mi primer look navideño empezé con el elemento clave: las lentejuelas, eso claro y el color rojo. Ideal para la chica fashionista, atrevida pero sútil a la misma vez. Cabe destacar un detalle importante, al momento de llevar lentejuelas opten por no llevar muchos accesorios para no sobrecargar el look.

Holidays are here! And for my first festive look I opted to wear the element of the moment; sequins, that and the color red. This look is perfect for the fashionista girl, a little edgy but subtle at the same time. When wearing sequins, keep accessories to a minimum to avoid a busy look.

I scored this fab skort for $8 bucks and I gotta say I'm obsessed with it! Nothing like Summer blowout sales because to be honest that's when I usually find some of the coolest, inexpensive, eye catching pieces ever. Not to mention, window pane patterns are gonna be all over this Fall.

Today was all about the shoes! I have to say these are in my top 10 out of all the shoes I own. Wish I had gotten the red ones but hesitated on them. Anyhow, I wanted to do a neutral look since I have been wearing lots of color lately, I like to mix it up once in a while.

Midi skirts are gonna be the "it" element for Christmas outfits. I went for my favorite color instead the traditional reds and greens we are going to be seeing this week. Despite of the color you choose, this silhouette will truly show your holiday spirit.

Holidays are finally upon us and like a every year I have a tradition; bows. They can't be left behind, along with sequins and metallic touches. These shoes are the newest addition to the collection. The name is Mayala from Shoedazzle and they are super cute. A beautiful magenta color that pairs well with a lot of stuff. They aren't the comfiest shoes I own but I got some beautiful shoes that I just can't wear to not even take a walk (if you know what I mean) These are moderate in comfort but you can add extra padding in the sole area and you'll be good to go.

Can you believe I paid only $12 bucks for this amazing sequin top? I thought it was really unique and despite of being oversize, it works with a lot of items in my closet. I don't know if I had mentioned it but I hate green, but I find that this olive tone goes well with my skin, so, I am proving to myself to never say never.

I have been loving the fuzzy sweater/cardigan trend lately, I just think it's really cute and comfy to wear and it adds that Je ne sais quoi to any look. I wanted to experiment with texture and I thought this navy sweater would work well with this sequin skirt which I love by the way. Funny thing about this sweater, I saw it in the kids section at Forever 21 and I said whatever, if it fits it's a winner =D now I regret not getting the other colors!

Happy 2014 everyone! I hope this year brings all of us magnificent things! If you knew the story about this dress you would laugh! I actually bought it 3 years ago to wear on NYE but guess what? I never did, so I kept saving it and saving it! xD I just thought it was too beautiful to even wear it =)

Anyhow, I got it shipped to me a few weeks ago since it was in my storage in Nebraska, so I finally decided to wear it. I am madly in love with this look! I love the idea of pairing it with these Gatsby inspired shoes and just for the heck of it, I threw some pearls on there too. What are your resolutions for this year? =)
