To start off the month, I wanted to wear something old with something new. This awesome floral blazer has been in my closet for the longest time! I paired it with my new fave top which goes great with jeans, shorts, and basically everything because the cut is really flattering.

Top: Forever 21 (Similar) | Pants: Justfab "The Favorite Flare" | Necklace: Justfab "Fringe Fresh" | Shoes: Zara I rarely wear white pants or jeans, maybe because I'm always so afraid of spilling something on them. Despite of this, I had been craving a pair of wide legged pants in white for a while. Originally, I wanted a high-waisted cut but found these on Justfab and the price was just right. They are comfy and the length is exactly what I was looking for.

Today, was unbelievably hot hence the sock bun, but despite of the humidity, I wanted to dress up in my favorite pattern; polka dots! Polka dots always make me feel happy for some reason. I think we all have a print or pattern that instantly make us feel and look good. What's yours?

He estado súper perdida estas semanas. Lamentablemente, estaba enferma con un virus que anda azotando todo el país y no es para nada divertido. Por suerte ya me siento mucho mejor y ando de vuelta aquí con un nuevo atuendo. Hoy tuve un dia horrible de cabello (la humedad imaginense), y usualmente en esos días me gusta usar un sombrero o gorra, hoy me decidí poner este que pedí por Asos que estan de última. A este sombrero le dicen "Floppy" un gorro de los años sesenta que exubera un look ecléctico. Son geniales para ir a la playa, para looks casuales, o más sofisticados. Además de eso, es una pieza que puedes transicionar de verano a invierno y una que va ser parte de muchos de mis looks debido a su versatilidad.
I have been MIA these past weeks. I caught a horrible virus that's going around and it hasn't been fun. Luckily, I already feel much better and I'm back with a new look to share with all of you! Needless to say, I had a bad hair day today ( Please blame the humidity) which forced me to dig out a few of my hats. I decided it was time to put to use this awesome straw floppy hat I got from Asos. This is the hat of the moment! Great for the beach, casual looks, or to simply add that Je ne sais quoi to a sophisticated outfit. It's a great piece that can easily transition from summer to winter and you will be seeing it a lot on my posts.

Vest: Wetseal (Similar) | Romper: Charlotte Russe | Zapatos/Shoes: Zara | Cartera/Bag: Justfab Arrival Nada como un romper corto para este verano. Esta tendencia no les gusta a muchas ya que son complicados a la hora de quitarlos, especialmente cuando vas al baño (hablo por experiencia propia). Aunque desde que vi este me enamoré, no sé si fue el color rosa o el hecho de que tiene un lacito que tanto me gusta al lado. Para completar el look le añadi un vest en jean que sigue siendo una de mis piezas favoritas. Nothing like a short romper for summer time, don't you agree? Although I know some of you may not like this trend because they are just so tedious when it comes to taking them off, especially when going to the restroom! Nevertheless, when I saw this particular one, I fell in love, it may have been because of the color or maybe it was the bow on the side. I'm a sucker for those! To complete the look, I added a jean vest which continues to be one of my favorite pieces.

Ah caray! Ya está bueno de esos colores pasteles. Sólo faltan 8 días para que finalmente inicie mi temporada favorita. Si ese mismo, ¡VERANO! No me pude contener las ganas y aqui les dejo mi más reciente look, "Dulce Agrio". Creo que el color lima es mi color favorito para esta temporada, de igual manera el coral y el rosado los cuales son colores que se llevarán mucho. Enough with the pastels! With only 8 days away from my favorite season which is Summer, I am more than thrilled to post my latest look; "Sour Candy". Lime is definitely my fave color for this season along with coral and pink.

El clima ha estado en contra de mi estos dias. Ha llovido hasta más no poder aquí en la ciudad de Puerto Plata pero hoy me pude escapar hacer algunas diligencias y de paso me tomé unas cuantas fotos para capturar el atuendo de hoy. Creo que nunca habia hecho el "denim on denim" ya que todas las camisas chambray que tengo nunca le combinaban totalmente a los pantalones que me quería poner. El caso es que Justfab sacó a la venta esta blusa chambray que le quedó perfecta a estos shorts que me encontré en Zara. Lo que me gusta de esta camisa es que no es como otra que tengo que es más gruesa lo que me permite usarla en layers o usarla atada encima de vestidos, faldas, etc.
It has been raining non-stop in Puerto Plata city but today I was able to escape to run some errands and I took advantage to capture a few shots of today's look. I don't think I have ever done a "denim on denim" look because I felt that all of the tops I have didn't match the shade of blue of the bottoms I wanted to wear. Luckily, Justfab released this new chambray top that goes perfect with these shorts from Zara. What I like the most about the top is that it's not as thick and it lets me wear it in layers or tie it up to dresses, skirts, and more.
