I have tried all sorts of products, for frizz, for damage, and for straight looks. These are 5 products I consider to be the best ones I have tried in order to create long lasting results. Expect your hair to be frizz free and also if you are looking for something to extend the straight look, you must check these out:

2- Bed Head Control Freak Serum

3- Not your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream

4-  Big Sexy Hair  Blow Dry Volumizing Gel

5-  One 'n Only Brazilian Tech Keratin Lusterizer
If you need a more personal review on any of these products, leave a comment below and I will be happy to review them independently. Have a good day and I hope one of these products may become your new favorite one.

  1. Your hair is really pretty curly too. How do you get your hair so shiny and healthy looking while straight? When i straighten mine it just looks dry, lifeless, and frizzy. Which i dont understand why because my curly hair is actually pretty healthy.

    1. that has happened to me when I used the wrong products. What are you using and do you use a blow-dryer and straightener or just blow-dryer?

    3. I usually use any shampoo and conditioner that hydrates because i understand curly hair needs alot of moisture. And i blow dry then straighten, and i usually put in a leave in conditioner before i blow dry. And some john frieda 3 day straight. Can you please summarize what you do step by step?

    4. I have another post to address this question into detail but this is what i do:

shampoo hair, then conditioner, then deep condition ( this is essential) then let hair dry a little bit, then I apply product #3, i then divide my hair into sections, and blowdry with a blowdry comb.

Then I spray heat protectant to flat iron , then i flat iron by section, and then to finish off I apply a little bit of #5 to tame flyaways or use a hair serum, I then do a dominican doo-bee and leave my hair wrapped for some hours, this makes the hair be straight for longer! I will have a video showing how to do a dominican doo-bee this week =)

I recommend biolage by matrix products, or nexxus.

One last question, how often do you straighten your hair?

    6. I am here to help =) I do it once a week, or every week and a half. But if for example my bangs get wet, I first let them air dry then I might use the straightener to fix them a bit, but I try not to do it because flat ironing dirty hair is damaging. Let me know how it works out for you. I will be doing more posts on hair =) so, check back!

  2. Great post Katy! I'm definitely going to show this to my girlfriend because she's always complaining about how the products she uses doesn't keep her hair straight or as straight as she would like it. I know the only hair stuff she doesn't complain about is mizani hair products. Thank you for sharing this with us.
