5 Drugstore Products You Must Check Out

For me, good make-up is that kind that when you apply it, makes your face look flawless, it has to be long-lasting and above all it has to work well with your skin type. I have recently replaced some of my fave make-up products for some cheaper alternatives just because times are tough and because I want to show everyone how a cheaper product can rival a higher end one.

Here I have compiled 5 drugstore products that work wonders:
  1. Revlon Colorstay Overtime Mascara: The name says it all! Previously, I had been using a MAC mascara but one day on a trip to Walmart I became aware that I needed one, so, I grabbed it. I tried it on a couple of times and let me tell you that not only is this stuff long-lasting, but it is the darkest black mascara I have ever owned. It will make your eyelashes look almost fake. It makes them look longer, thicker, and shiny. This stuff is amazing. However, you will need heavy duty make-up remover lol, you have been warned!
  2. Revlon Colorstay Creme Gel Eyeliner: Ever since I bought MAC blacktrack I have been hooked with gel eyeliners, nevertheless, I always try to find cheaper alternatives that may compare to my favorite products, so, I found this. What I love about it, is that comes with a built in brush, which is great if you are on the go, but I can't say it's the best brush for me. I really like that this is really black and it doesn't dry as quick which allows you to work with it better. Revlon doesn't disappoint with their eyeliners but I have to say I am also a fan of their compact powders and foundations. You can find this product at any drugstore.
  3. Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner: Hands down to this product! I have never been a fan of liquid eyeliners until I bought this. WOW. I got it in blackest black, and let me tell you it is the blackest! Not only is it the blackest but it applies in such magnificent way; it is beyond words. I like it that it is in pen form which gives me more control. You can create lines from very thin to very thick. With this I achieve the greatest cat eye ever. This is in fact my favorite eyeliner right now. I warn you that if you don't know how to use this type to go really slow. Little by little you will master how to apply this. Top 5 rated! I plan on getting other colors as well. You can find it at CVS.
  4. Elf Eyelid Primer: I worship Urban Decay primer but I was at Target one night and I said well, let me give this a try and for only $1 dollar, I had nothing to lose. I tried it on one day, and omg, this stuff works as good as UO primer! It is a bit more watery but as you apply it, it becomes matte. It makes your eyelids look even and ready for your eyeshadow. I gotta say I am impressed, you get a lot of product for the money and it works really well, I say this is a total bargain ^_^
  5. L'oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow: When it comes to eye-shadows I look for 3 things; it has to stay put, it has to be very pigmented, and shimmery ( in most cases, but I also like matte eye-shadows sometimes) Well, this one is the bomb! I don't know what is on this stuff but I love how shimmery it is. I can't say enough about this eye-shadow. I got the one in iced latte which I use in the inner corner of my eyes and brow bone, and I also got eternal sunshine which is the prettiest gold ever! This eye-shadow is so versatile that you can even use it as a highlighter for other parts of your face. I am definetely going to be getting this in other colors because the quality you get compares to Urban Decay and MAC.

Well, I hope you enjoy this post, and I definitely recommend these products ^_^

    1. I strongly recommend it, and it work well with the loreal eye-shadows. When you apply that eye-shadow try getting your brush wet, it will stick better to the brush =)

  3. I adore the Milani line! That eyeliner is hands down the best. I've tried the elf primer and I just don't like it....I have oily lids and it just did not work....maybe due to the consistancy. UD eye primer is good but I like putting foundation on my eyelids and then an actual eye primer. It helps my eye makeup stay.....oh the joy of oily lids!
