Caribbean Valentine

Quería compartir el look que usé para celebrar el dia de San Valentín con mi media naranja. Sabemos que eso de vestirse de rojo para esta fecha es algo tradicional. Realmente yo siempre me pongo como me sienta ese día por lo que elegí este vestido que tenía que no me quedaba pero ya me sienta mejor. El día estaba nublado y considerando donde me encontraba en el momento pensé que algo colorido pero femenino sería lo ideal. Usar rojo es una tradición como ya mencioné, pero es algo que poco a poco se debe romper porque ya es algo demasiado común.

Just wanted to share what I wore for V'day this year. We already know red is the traditional color for Valentine's day which I personally don't follow. I can wear certain things in red throughout the month but for the actual day, I prefer to wear what I'm in the mood for. I went for this old dress I had that didn't fit well but now it's just perfect! Weather was cloudy and based on the location I was at, something colorful and feminine was in order. Red is a tradition as I already mentioned, but we need to start breaking off that pattern because it's too common and getting overrated.
